PMML
In ProcessMIX, PMML asset is a type of entity that allows to import and execute predictive analytical models defined in PMML format.
PMML (Predictive Model Markup Language) is an open standard for representing predictive models, enabling the sharing and deployment of these models across different platforms. PMML models are used primarily in data mining, machine learning, and statistical applications to represent models in a standardized XML format. This allows models to be easily transferred between various systems—such as from a data science development environment to a production environment—without needing to rebuild or recode the model.
Common PMML-supported models include decision trees, regression models, neural networks, clustering, and more. By allowing businesses to use the same model structure across multiple platforms, PMML simplifies integration, increases scalability, and reduces deployment time and costs, making it ideal for enterprises needing cross-platform model compatibility and efficiency in predictive analytics.
You can learn more about creating PMML assets in the PMML Asset Builder section.
